The BinhAn – Wellness & Head Spa on Mühlenstraße in Pankow
BinhAn – Wellness & Head Spa is located in an old corner building at Mühlenstraße 43, just a few steps from the Vinetastraße subway station. The turquoise-green shop front with planted tubs outside is noticeable from the street corner and stands out from the quiet residential area surrounding it. Behind the entrance, a bright reception area with seating opens up, where a tea made from ten different herbs according to the house recipe is served as a welcome. The interior embraces the Vietnamese idea of simplicity and harmony, with natural materials, muted colors, soft lighting, and feel-good scents. Behind wooden grilles with floral motifs are the massage areas, and the head spa area is separated by heavy curtains. The name of the studio translates to peace, and the design is precisely geared towards that.
Head Spa, Gua Sha, and Vietnamese Massages at BinhAn
The focus is on head massage and care, which at BinhAn is offered as a Head Spa and centers on the scalp, neck, and shoulders. It lasts either 45 or 60 minutes and can be booked from 70 euros. Three head spa recliners are available side-by-side in one room, allowing for treatments for two or three people. To conclude, hair is blow-dried and styled so that guests can continue their day without delay. Additionally, the program ranges from Vietnamese feel-good massage to deep tissue, sports, and pregnancy massage, as well as lymphatic drainage and foot reflexology. A special feature is the head and face massage using the traditional Gua Sha technique. For longer visits, three packages of 120 minutes each are available, combining Head Spa, a massage, and a facial treatment with a mask. Founder Loi specializes in Vietnamese massage, as well as pregnancy and lymphatic massage, and works with a dedicated team of therapists. Only plant-based, cruelty-free products and warm oils are used.
