Mabba Taschen

All Mabba bags and cases are handmade in Berlin, with the design also created in-house. Whether business bags, shoppers, clutches or smartphone cases – all bags are handcrafted from high-quality Italian leather in the Berlin atelier, are limited in number, and can be customized with a personal engraving.

The concept for Mabba bags arose rather by chance. When her son wanted a leather laptop bag but couldn’t find one, company founder Marianna Balle sewed him a leather bag herself. Because many acquaintances wanted a similar bag, the Balle family founded their company Mabba Taschen in 2009. The leather bags are unique and have that certain something. In addition to classic bags, Mabba’s range is constantly being expanded. The iPhone case Mrs. Twinkle, for example, always brings a good mood and winks at its owners with lashes and a lot of glamour. Even shoes are produced at Mabba in Berlin, e.g., leather espadrilles or boots. Meanwhile, accessories such as keychains or credit card cases are also available, and celebrities like Rebecca Mir, Miloš Vuković, or fashion bloggers also like Mabba Berlin’s collections.

Mabba bags are sold in the pop-up store in Bikini Berlin, directly in the atelier in Berlin Charlottenburg, at DaWanda, or in their own online shop on the Mabba website.
