Music fans, on the other hand, are spoiled for choice sifting through CDs and vinyl from the genres of rock, pop, classical, and jazz. And those who prefer watching films and TV series are in the right place in the DVD section.

In addition, there’s sheet music and music books for anyone who plays an instrument, various gift items such as calendars, and a dedicated stationery department for the perfect card and gift wrap on the ground floor of the culture department store.

With such a vast offering, most people tend to stay at Dussmann longer than planned. This is partly due to the long opening hours (weekdays until midnight and Saturdays until 11:30 PM!) and the excellently trained sales staff.

Furthermore, the cultural stage hosts free signing sessions by renowned authors, readings, or short concerts.
