Oper & Dinner in der Komischen Oper Berlin

A very special event for lovers on Valentine’s Day is “Opera & Dinner” at the Komische Oper Berlin. In collaboration with konzeptbar GmbH, the Komische Oper offers a very special culinary opera experience: In the unique atmosphere of the opera canteen, a top-class three-course menu is served at a festively set table before the curtain rises on stage.

The Opera & Dinner menu begins with a vegetarian quiche duet with confit tomatoes, carrot-zucchini spaghetti, and a seasonal salad bouquet. For the main course, guests can choose between meat, fish, or vegetarian. Options include slices of veal loin on a duo of pea and parsnip purée with a Burgundy-rosemary jus, or for the fish main course, cod fillet on sautéed baby-leaf spinach, or – vegetarian – homemade potato-beet gnocchi on yellow and red bell pepper sauce with zucchini boats. For dessert, there is a dreamy chocolate trilogy with fruit coulis and seasonal fruits.

Fortified in this way, one can face the grand emotions when the curtain rises. On the evening of Valentine’s Day, La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini will be performed – one of the most moving love stories in musical theatre!

The dinner begins at 17:00, and the performance of La Bohème starts at 19:30.
