MiSalsa: Salsa School at Richard-Wagner-Platz

MiSalsa is located directly at Richard-Wagner-Platz in Charlottenburg, with the U7 subway station right outside the door. Owners Humberto Castillo and Nataly, as Latin American dance teachers, teach according to their own method: learning through rhythm and body feeling instead of mechanically memorizing steps. In the basic levels, the school teaches the basics independently of style, so that one can later dance Cuban or L.A. Style. In addition to Salsa, Bachata and movement training are on the curriculum. Courses in Four-Week Blocks

The courses run in blocks of four weeks, each 75 minutes long, ranging from Basic Level 1 to advanced levels. Basic Level 1 costs 70 Euros per person. For the higher intermediate level, there is the Salsa Club, where Afro, Rumba, Son, and Rueda are also practiced. Registration is via email or phone, with payment by bank transfer before the course begins. Private lessons with Humberto cost 70 Euros per hour. The school also organizes dance trips, such as Salsa dancing in Cuba or Bachata in Miami.
