The Hafenbar in Karl-Liebknecht Straße in Mitte is a mix of a fun Schlager disco and a bar with a pirate feeling.
With its fishing nets and ship planks, the Hafenbar in Berlin-Mitte provides the best proof that you can be really cool without an upscale concept. The complete interior comes from the decommissioned banana steamer Theodor Storm, featuring ship planks, illuminated portholes, and empty aquariums. The specialty of the Hafenbar is its reputation as an iconic Schlager disco.
For several years now, there has been a true party classic here on Fridays. That’s when all Schlager friends gather for the infamous “Stimmen in Aspik” (Voices in Aspic). The atmosphere and sing-along factor couldn’t be higher than at this party. Every seat in the bar is taken, and it gets really warm from singing, dancing, and simply having fun.
