Located at Kollwitzplatz in Prenzlauer Berg, Café Anna Blume has been a staple for over 15 years for those who want to combine Berlin coffee house culture with the aroma of a flower shop. Guests who have breakfast here are served homemade spreads, home-cured salmon, and opulent breakfast platters.
Flowers, cakes, and lavish breakfast platters directly at Kollwitzplatz: Café Anna Blume combines Berlin coffee house culture with the charm of a flower shop and has been considered one of the city’s most renowned breakfast spots for years.
Trendy Breakfast with Style: The Breakfast Platter
The centerpiece of the breakfast menu is the multi-tiered breakfast platter, available for two or four people. It includes homemade spreads, home-cured salmon, antipasti, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and jam. Additionally, there are fragrant butter croissants, yogurt with fruit salad, as well as omelette and egg dishes, each served with a bread basket and butter. Café Anna Blume exclusively offers à la carte breakfast. The breakfast towers for two or four people are the most generous option and cover the entire breakfast repertoire.
If you also have a sweet tooth: The cake counter next door offers over 40 different tarts, cakes, and cookies, all homemade in the adjacent bakery. Vegan options are also available upon request.
Ambience and Atmosphere at Café Anna Blume
The light-filled café was once a cluttered Sleeping Beauty. Today, guests sit by large windows in curved bay areas on Bordeaux-red upholstered benches at marble tables. Those who prefer to sit outside can take a seat on the spacious terrace under century-old plane trees, surrounded by greenery and colorful roses. Large tent roofs protect from sun and rain, and up to 120 guests can find a spot here.
The adjoining flower shop provides special decoration and creates a romantically relaxed atmosphere, which makes the trendy weekend breakfast particularly popular. Reservations are therefore recommended on weekends, as it can get very crowded here. The café is open daily from 9 AM to 10 PM, and breakfast is served until 3 PM.
