Rudi-Dutschke-Straße is located in northern Kreuzberg, bordering Mitte, just a few steps from Checkpoint Charlie. Editorial and office buildings surround it, including the taz building and the Axel Springer Passage, making it correspondingly busy at lunchtime. Choppora opened here in September 2021 as the brand’s first German location, which Nikras Agha and Bijan Azadfard had previously launched in London. The guest area measures around 100 square meters, with indoor and outdoor seating and free Wi-Fi.

Over 60 Toppings, freshly chopped with a Mezzaluna

The core concept is the custom-made salad: you choose your combination from over 60 fresh ingredients, which is then chopped in front of guests with a mezzaluna and dressed with a homemade dressing. It is served either as a bowl or rolled as a wrap. In addition, warm signature bowls, rice bowls with superfood rice, soups, smoothie bowls, as well as porridge and scrambled eggs are on the menu. Vegetarian and vegan dishes like the Falafel Habibi Bowl are specifically highlighted. A custom-made bowl costs 9.50 Euros, the Thai Rice Bowl 11.95 Euros.
