The Gartenhaus Café Zehlendorf is unfortunately closed.
The small, very personal Gartenhaus Café in Zehlendorf is quietly and somewhat hidden on Martin-Buber-Strasse, even before house number one. The café has a beautiful, fairytale-like garden. Stepping through the gate allows you to completely switch off and forget everyday life while enjoying small delicacies.
A breakfast at Gartenhaus Café is therefore perfect for a romantic tête-à-tête in a private setting. The café has about 30 garden seats and 20 seats in the cozy, yet modernly furnished guest room. The offerings range from small breakfasts, cakes, and some warm dishes like quiche and soup, standard coffee and tea options, to seasonal specials. Great emphasis is placed on sustainability, organic ingredients, and waste reduction.
In summer, guests prefer to sit in the garden under blooming lilac trees and look at the neighboring arts and crafts house in a renovated farmhouse, presumably built around 1850. In winter, the café’s guest room offers a cozy retreat with a small stove. The Gartenhaus Café is thus an ideal place to catch your breath and slow down at affordable prices.
