Those with a sweet tooth will also find something to their liking: the cake counter next door offers over 40 different tarts, cakes, and cookies, all homemade in the adjoining bakery. A Fixture in the Kollwitzkiez Since 2005
Café Anna Blume opened its doors in 2005 and has since developed into a true institution in the Kollwitzkiez. The name, incidentally, comes from a love poem by the Dadaist Kurt Schwitters, and those who look closely will find lines from it on the walls of the light-filled interior. Those exploring the neighborhood around Kollwitzplatz will find SowohlAlsAuch, a tart and cake manufacturer on Kollwitzstraße, right next door, which is also worth a visit. Especially on weekends, a reservation is recommended, as the spacious terrace under the old plane tree quickly fills up in good weather.
