GOD SAVE the MULLET at Skalitzer Straße 83 cuts the mullet in Kreuzberg as naturally as others cut the bob, and explicitly charges gender-neutral prices: The cut costs between 50 and 70 Euros depending on length, including washing and blow-drying. They work with Davines and Olaplex, and consultations are available in five languages.

A Mullet Salon Right at Schlesisches Tor

Skalitzer Straße 83 is located in Kreuzberg’s Wrangelkiez, less than two hundred meters from the Schlesisches Tor elevated station, making it one of the district’s busiest addresses. GOD SAVE the MULLET specializes there in the very cut that gives the salon its name, and takes it more seriously than most: Founder and Art Director Alessandro, an Italian hairstylist trained in London, puts it simply: the mullet is the new bob. Co-founded the salon is colorist Simona, who began her career in the early nineties and is responsible for the technical color department. Today, between eight and eleven stylists work in the salon, many of whom have worked in Milan, London, or Sweden, and services are offered in English, German, Italian, French, and Swedish. Acrylic paintings, painted by one of the colorists, hang on the walls. The salon’s motto is that beauty is never about hiding something, and that is precisely how consultations are conducted here.

Gender-Neutral Pricing and a Clear Color Focus

The price list at GOD SAVE the MULLET does not differentiate between men’s and women’s prices, but only features four length categories, and the salon explicitly states this: gender plays no role here. A cut costs between 50 and 70 Euros; washing, conditioning, and blow-drying are included, but not for color treatments. The color section is finely structured and ranges from root color and toner to highlights for half or full head, up to balayage and full bleaching, each with its own pricing. Additionally, there are conditioning treatments with Olaplex and an intensive Davines mask, the brand predominantly used in the salon. A consultation beforehand is free upon request, which is more valuable than any catalog for a cut that heavily depends on hair structure. Bookings are made online or by phone, and anyone who cancels an appointment at short notice pays half the service fee. Casual walk-ins are therefore not really intended at this salon; instead, you get a reliably scheduled appointment.
