The Kombibad Seestraße in Wedding is both an indoor and outdoor pool: Swimmers can enjoy 50 meters of water surface here all year round, while in winter, a spectacular air-supported hall covers the outdoor pools, doubling the offerings.

Kombibad Seestraße: Swimming in Wedding, twelve months a year

The Kombibad Seestraße in Wedding is an indoor and outdoor pool in one. What makes this swimming pool so special is its versatility: The indoor pool features a 50-meter pool with 1-meter and 3-meter diving boards, as well as a non-swimmer pool with a children’s slide. This caters to all age groups. Furthermore, the bath is exemplary in terms of accessibility: It has been awarded the “Berlin barrier-free” seal and offers a dedicated disabled area with a separate entrance, aquatic wheelchairs, a therapy pool with an adjustable floor and handrails, and a lift.

In winter, however, the Berlin swimming pool becomes a real eye-catcher: An air-supported hall covers the two 50-meter summer pools during the cold season, thereby replacing two pools in northwestern Berlin that were in need of renovation. Since then, the air-supported hall has provided a well-tempered winter home for swimming clubs and school classes.

Outdoor Pool, Sunbathing Lawn, and Seepferdchen Restaurant

As soon as summer arrives, the swimming pool transforms into a classic Berlin outdoor pool. A 50-meter pool, a non-swimmer pool, a children’s slide, and a large sunbathing lawn are available. For snacks in between, the “Seepferdchen” restaurant is ready. The outdoor pool in Wedding also features beautiful, green sunbathing lawns, as well as a sports and children’s playground.

Regarding prices: The day ticket costs 6.50 Euro, reduced 3.80 Euro. The family swim fun ticket is available for 12.00 Euro for three people. Those who visit the swimming pool more often can also purchase a monthly subscription starting from 23 Euro. Finally, it’s worth checking the occupancy traffic light of the Berliner Bäder-Betriebe: A traffic light on the website shows how busy the outdoor pool is and if there are any ticket sales stops.
