Musicland Berlin

The Musicland Berlin in Spandau is not just a record store, but something like an institution.

In Musicland Spandau there are not only records and CDs, but also DVDs and even VHS from practically all genres: pop, rock, jazz, dance, black music and jazz. Audio books and special soundtracks can also be found here. The main focus is on good advice.

The owner Ralf Jürgen Rachner has managed the branch in Spandau himself since the beginning of 1992, before that in 1977 as part of a chain. Rachner is regarded as an acknowledged connoisseur and expert, has published his own articles and is happy to give recommendations. He also knows a lot about music history.

Today he describes himself on his website as "the last survivor of a small chain of shops that musically co-designed the Berlin scene of the 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000s and still gives no rest". Tip: if you are looking at the shop, you should bring a little time to indulge and rummage in memories.
