Formerly, Musicland was a small chain: once with a total of six branches spread across Berlin, the store in Spandau remained the last one. For almost five decades, Ralf Rachner stood behind the counter until he retired in 2024. Three long-standing regular customers took over the store, and Ralf continues to assist them as an expert and consultant.

Musicland Spandau sells not only vinyl records and CDs but also DVDs and even VHS from almost all genres: Pop, Rock, Dance, Black Music, and Jazz. Audiobooks and special soundtracks can also be found here. Above all, however, personal advice is key: For almost 50 years, music fans worked at Musicland who truly understood what customers wanted and could therefore provide competent advice.

Since being taken over by the four-person team Tobi, Philipp, Christian, and Uwe, Musicland has received a fresh breeze without losing its character. Monthly music evenings on various themes take place, as well as concerts by national and international artists. Both established musicians and emerging talents get the chance to perform here.
