Berlin's high quality Abyme Vodka is an inherent part of the capitals nightlife.

Abyme Vodka Berlin has been part of the nightlife in the capital since 2014. The two Berlin founders Jonas Westphal and Carsten Baade had the idea to produce a vodka that fits to Berlin, rather minimalist and, above all, artful. Abyme Vodka is distilled from wheat in three passes and then filtered five-fold, using charcoal filters. This method filters out fusel oils and bitter substances, but also flavors and finally creates a clear spirit drink. Since the filtering process is very gentle, the vodka retains its own character. 60 percent of Berlin water is added to the 40 percent of alcohol. Abyme Vodka retains a light hint of wheat and a delicate sweetness, despite the clear high-percent liquor, that is not flavored.

Meanwhile there are a lot of shops in Berlin where you can buy Abyme Vodka, for example Of/berlin (Kreuzberg), Aunt Frizzante (Neukölln), Absinthe Depot (Mitte) or Getränkefeinkost (Fhain). Abyme Vodka can be bought in over 60 bars and some small clubs in Berlin now.

The name Abyme derives from the French “Mise en Abyme”, which in art refers to a picture in the picture. The makers of Abyme Vodka are also committed to art. They support art associations, art galleries and art events.
