Have you ever been working with sheet plastic, sand metal sheets or self-adhesive magnet tape? At Modulor, part of the Aufbauhaus on Moritzplatz, you will even find material for rather unusual crafts projects!

More than 30.000 articles are spread out on just under 3.000 square metres. Next to classic supplies for painting, sketching and artists’s supplies, you will find many blanks of boxes, jars, cans or letters made of paper, cardbord, acryl glass, tin foil, wood, cork and much more to paint yourself.

Architects and model train fans live to buy little trees and houses here to build miniature landscapes. Add to that a solid variety of fabrics and cloths and the in-house sewing institue offering the corresponding workshops. Noteworthy is their large choice of masking tapes and wrapping papers.

Tip of the Top10 Team: Masking tape, transparent little sachets or small paper or jute bags together with a red and white bakers’ twine make great wrappings for home-made cookies or pralinés – not only for Christmas!
