Stralauer Spreepromenade

The morning after, you should drag yourself out of bed for a walk, as a little physical activity gets your circulation going.
The Spree Promenade on the Stralau peninsula is almost perfect as an excursion destination. The path leads around the tip of the island, from where hikers can look out onto the so-called Liebesinsel (Love Island) and the Kratzbruch. Along the banks of the Plänterwald, the path leads past the Treptower Park to a path that goes directly to the Stralau Village Church. The church is known for Berlin’s only remaining late Gothic stained glass and is worth a visit.
