The Reichstag houses the largest plenary hall in Europe, spanning 1,200 m²!

The glass visitor dome of the Reichstag in Berlin offers the best view of the plenary hall, as well as Berlin itself.

The dome and roof terrace of the Reichstag building can be visited free of charge. Important: A visit is only possible with prior registration! Both individuals and groups can register. It is therefore necessary to inform yourself in advance on the German Bundestag’s website about the registration procedures.

An appointment request is possible, for example, via an online form from the Visitor Service of the German Bundestag. Spontaneous visitors can register in person at the Visitor Service’s external service office on Scheidemannstraße for the dome tour. Only if sufficient capacity is available can access permits be issued there up to two hours before the visit date.

Top10 Berlin Insider Knowledge: The Käfer restaurant, with its beautiful roof terrace next to the Reichstag dome, is the only public parliamentary restaurant worldwide. Timely advance booking (at least 24 hours in advance) is absolutely necessary for this restaurant as well.

Book your ticket for Cafe Käfer here.
