Kavalierhaus Caputh

The lovingly restored Kavalierhaus Caputh, just outside Potsdam, captivates above all with its idyllic location in the castle park. With a direct view of Lake Templin, celebrations here take place in an atmospheric ambience throughout the year.

Various rooms are available for a romantic wedding. While the Kavalier Room or Winter Garden offers a more intimate setting for celebrations, the light-flooded Greenhouse provides space for a wedding party of up to 120 people, and in mild temperatures, the sun terrace on the lakeside is the perfect spot for a sparkling wine reception.

The bridal couple has free choice regarding decorations but is gladly supported by the experienced team, who also provide advice to ensure every wedding is individually designed according to the couple’s wishes and ideas.

The in-house kitchen caters to culinary needs, delighting guests with an international menu and seasonal regional ingredients. Bridal couples with a longer journey can make use of the house’s total of six comfortable hotel rooms for themselves and their guests.

Caputh Castle, perfect for civil ceremonies and as a backdrop for the subsequent wedding photoshoot, is located not far from Kavalierhaus. A church ceremony can be held in the Evangelical Church in Caputh. Those who only wish for a civil marriage but do not want to forego the church ambiance can also say “I do” in the church in nearby Petzow and then, as another highlight for the wedding party, cruise by boat to Caputh.
