Zitadelle Spandau

How about a wedding in one of Europe’s most significant Renaissance fortresses? Spandau Citadel is a special place for a very special day in life! Here, bride and groom exchange vows in a medieval wedding atmosphere.

Following the motto “small but exquisite,” the bridal couple can get married in the festive “Fürstenzimmer” (Prince’s Room) by the staff of the Spandau registry office. There are seats for 20 guests (additional standing room is not a problem). An important note for guests who use a wheelchair or are less mobile: access to the Fürstenzimmer is not barrier-free, but only accessible via stairs.

Wedding dates at the Citadel are offered every two weeks on Fridays from early April to the end of October.
