The Spielbank Berlin at Marlene-Dietrich-Platz is the city’s largest casino and resides in a building by Renzo Piano. Spread across the floors are eight American roulette tables, eight blackjack tables, 21 poker tables, and around 500 slot machines, plus 55 Touchbet terminals, Punto Banco, Sic Bo, and a wheel of fortune. Texas Hold’em and Omaha Hold’em are played, both as cash games and tournaments, on a dedicated poker floor. Above the scene hangs a chandelier with 333,000 crystals and weighing two tons.

For a group, the house works in both directions: a small group can sit at the roulette table, a larger one can compete at the poker table. Admission costs 2 euros, at Blackjack the minimum bet is 4 euros and the maximum is 1,000 euros. The building is barrier-free, there are bars on all floors, and the kitchen takes orders in the evening, including directly at the poker floor. If you don’t know the rules of a game, they will be explained at the table before the first round begins.

Dine and Gamble: Group Packages for Bachelor Parties

Under the name Dine and Gamble, Spielbank offers fixed group packages, one of which is explicitly designed for bachelor parties. The Party Package costs 339 euros for six people; each additional person pays 55 euros. It includes free admission, a signature drink, a guided tour of the house, finger food, a glass of Prosecco, gaming chips worth ten euros, an explanation of the rules for roulette or blackjack, and a gift for the main person. If you prefer just to eat or just arrive, you will also find a Welcome and a Dinner Package.

The group should know a few rules before they set off. Admission is permitted from 18 years of age, and official photo identification is required for identification, i.e., an identity card or passport. Driving licenses, service IDs, or student IDs are not sufficient. Photography is prohibited inside the building and only allowed in designated selfie areas, which is important to know for a group with cameras ready. Bets are placed with gaming tokens or cash; group packages must be booked in advance and requested at least seven days prior.
