This traditional swimming area was opened in Grünau in 1908 as Berlin’s first family bath and will be modernised. It remains open during the refurbishment and offers a non-swimmer area, a beach bar, a restaurant and a snack bar.
You can get a cocktail and warm or cold drinks from their beach bar and on weekends with the sun out, they fire up the barbecue for lunch.
A sports and forest swimming pool is planned, which will offer young and old a variety of opportunities for sports, leisure and recreation. In addition to indoor and outdoor playgrounds, gastronomic facilities and areas for events and celebrations are also planned.
