The drive itself makes it clear that this is no ordinary Brandenburg castle hotel. Past two imposing deer sculptures, through an avenue to Lindenplatz, the view opens up to the white castle surrounded by a moat. Built on the remains of a medieval predecessor, the castle was repeatedly extended and rebuilt until the late 19th century. Guests checking in today are thus staying in a house with genuine depth.

The sauna and wellness area, which could not be approved for a larger size due to monument protection regulations, is located on the ground floor of the Amtshaus. Nevertheless, it leaves nothing to be desired: sports massages, body wraps, and cosmetic treatments are available in the spa, while an indoor pool, sauna, and steam bath provide classic relaxation. For those who like it particularly romantic, book the exclusive pool for two late in the evening, including a bottle of sparkling wine and fresh delicacies.

The Schlosshotel Fürstlich Drehna is also worthwhile from a culinary perspective. The restaurant impresses with a five-meter-high vaulted ceiling and a simple, elegant design reminiscent of the age of nobility. Instead of exotic dishes, the menu features more traditional fare in new forms.
