The 500-year-old castle Fürstlich Drehna looks like a fairytale castle. The 4-star superior hotel in the Spreewald is an absolute luxury hotel with historical flair. Already the approach is an experience, past two impressive deer sculptures and through an avenue to the white impressive castle surrounded by a water moat.

Rooms, suites and restaurants are perfectly embedded in the castle complex, which has grown over the centuries. There are 25 rooms and suites in the castle and 24 rooms in the “Amtshaus”, an 18th century building.

The small but fine sauna and wellness area, which could not be larger for reasons of monument protection, is also located on the ground floor of the Amtshaus. Guests will find a 9 x 4 metre pool, a dry sauna and a steam sauna on approx. 100 sqm. Massage and cosmetic treatments are available on request. As a special plus, hotel guests can enjoy the pool exclusively and alone in the evening hours.

The romantic garden of the castles with its winding paths also contributes to relaxation. The Schlosshotel Fürstlich Drehna is also located in a landscaped park of the same name. The 52 hectare park with its rare tree population is one of the most charming in Brandenburg. The small and large water areas invite to interesting observations of the native animal world. Around Fürstlich Drehna there is a wide range of sights, charming small towns and of course the Spreewald itself as a well-known cultural landscape.
The reconstructed, bright white moated castle was already built in the 16th century. Under the aegis of Brandenburgische Schlösser GmbH, the palace was renovated and rebuilt in accordance with the principles of monument preservation. Since 2014 the Saxon hotel company travdo hotels & resorts has operated the castle as an exclusive hotel.
