Solebox is one of Berlin's oldest sneaker shops, founded in 2002 by Hikmet Sugoer. Today, on Nürnberger Straße, a robot named Solebot retrieves the desired pair from the warehouse behind a glass front. The shelves feature Nike, Jordan, adidas Originals, New Balance, and Asics, along with apparel and accessories. The store is located close to Wittenbergplatz.

Kickz is the basketball specialist among Berlin's sneaker shops: 600 square meters on Kurfürstendamm, divided into a performance area on real hardwood and a lifestyle zone on concrete. Additionally, there's a members' area with recovery equipment and a corner for customizing shoes. The Kurfürstendamm subway station is just a few steps away.

Overkill at Schlesisches Tor is one of Berlin's most famous sneaker shops and originates from the graffiti scene: over 500 sneaker models on two floors, alongside a large assortment of spray cans, markers, and sketchbooks. Limited releases are allocated via raffles, with prices ranging from approximately 60 to 280 Euros.

The HHV Store in Friedrichshain combines two things that usually remain separate: around 2,500 records with six listening stations and a sneaker wall featuring adidas, Asics, and Salomon. The store originated in 2002 from a record shop called Hip Hop Vinyl, hence the abbreviation. Clothing and DJ equipment are also available. Events are an integral part of this place.

Civilist is one of Berlin's sneaker shops with the strongest individual profile: opened in 2009 in a former art gallery in Mitte, independently run ever since and closely associated with Nike SB. Several in-house Dunk collaborations have emerged from this partnership. Additionally, it has its own label, stocked worldwide by selected retailers.

Avesu is a purely vegan shoe store with two shops in Berlin in Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain.

ZEHA Berlin boasts the longest history among Berlin's sneaker shops: The brand dates back to a shoe factory from 1897 and equipped the GDR Olympic team in 1960. The flagship store on Prenzlauer Allee is set up like an old gymnastics hall, complete with wall bars, gym mats, and a Hall of Fame. Leather sneakers are available from 309 Euros.

The HHV Store in Friedrichshain is Berlin's interface between record culture and street style: Those browsing for vinyl here will find around 2,500 records from Hip Hop to Jazz, Techno to Reggae, flanked by sneakers and streetwear on 200 square meters in Grünberger Straße.

TITUS Berlin on Karl-Liebknecht-Straße is the skateboard shop among Berlin's sneaker shops: shoes from Nike SB, adidas Skateboarding, Vans, and New Balance Numeric, plus decks, wheels, and protective gear. The chain traces back to Titus Dittmann, who imported skateboards from California in the late seventies. Advice is provided by people who ride themselves.
