On New Year’s Eve, those hotels, bars and restaurants in Berlin with great views of the fireworks are particularly popular. One of the largest rooftop terraces in Berlin (250 square meters) is located at the Hotel AMANO Grand Central, close to Berlin Central Station.
On New Year’s Eve 2018, the bistro in the Amano Grand Central will pop the corks with an exclusive New Year’s Eve menu and a great party afterwards! A trace of “savoir vivre” inspired by French cuisine characterises the dishes of chef Lukas Opielka. After an amuse-bouche, the New Year’s Eve dinner begins with wild salmon smoked on cherry wood with artichokes and capers. After a poultry praline with tortelloni and carrot weed, Osietra caviar with mussel, chives and potato mash is served with champagne sauce. The main course will be stewed short rib of beef with young root and Perigord truffle. For dessert there are chocolate balls of “Mon Chérie” cherry.
Following the New Year’s Eve dinner, a glittering New Year’s Eve party with drinks, a DJ and a panoramic view of the big firework at the Brandenburg Gate can be celebrated on the 6th floor. Tickets for the dinner or party must be booked separately.
