In just eight weeks, a former gym was transformed into one of Berlin’s most creative coworking spaces – and the result made the scene take notice. At the 2025 Coworking Awards, werkhain scooped up three awards, officially making it the best coworking space in Berlin. It secured first place as „Best Newcomer Space”, plus two third places for „Best Community Management” and „Best Coworking Space of the Year”. Across 1,400 m² and five floors, coworking, event spaces, and community formats merge into a vibrant ecosystem. Height-adjustable desks, high-quality chairs, and large monitors demonstrate that ergonomic fundamentals have been seriously addressed. There are also dedicated quiet zones for deep work and ample phone booths for focused calls. Those who need a break can use the fitness room, the gaming area, or the outdoor area with a rooftop terrace. Flex Desks start from 210 Euros per month, Fix Desks from 630 Euros, and access is available 24/7. Additionally, private offices and virtual office addresses can be booked. However, what truly distinguishes werkhain is its community. Community lunches, AfterWerk formats, and spontaneous events foster genuine encounters instead of just working side-by-side. The Frankfurter Allee S-Bahn station, with lines S8 and S9, is within walking distance and connects the space directly to Ostkreuz, the Ringbahn, and the entire S-Bahn network.
