Rennradstrecke über Potsdam und Neu Fahrland

This athletic cycling route is very popular with road cyclists and is perfect for intensive training sessions.
This cycling route, which leads through Potsdam and Neu Fahrland, is used by many enthusiastic road and mountain bikers and is ideal for intensive training with its 71 kilometers. The sporty route starts at S-Bahnhof Heerstraße and leads directly to the CityCube Berlin, from which you turn right into Eichkampstraße and cycle parallel to the separated AVUS highway on a paved road specifically for pedestrians and cyclists. The Kronprinzessinenweg is also affectionately called “The Crown” by many cyclists and leads to S-Bahnhof Wannsee. From there, you cross over the large Wannsee on a bridge to Potsdam.
In beautiful Potsdam, there are several opportunities for a coffee break. Along the route, you will also pass Volkspark Potsdam, where many people skateboard, barbecue, or sunbathe in summer. The cycling route continues over the Sacrow-Paretzer Canal, and in Neu Fahrland, you cycle along the idyllic Krampnitzsee, where you can cool off at various swimming spots. The route leads through cool, shady forest areas and along the beautiful and popular Sacrower See.
In Kladow, there is an opportunity to make a detour to the well-visited beer garden at Immchenplatz right by the water. Following Gatow and Heerstraße, you cycle to the Tiroler Bauernstuben at Scholzplatz and from there onto the hilly Havelchaussee to really challenge your legs again. The Havelchaussee is ideal for accumulating several meters of elevation and mastering steep ascents.
Those who have conquered the many hills of the Havelchaussee can relax on the Kronprinzessinenweg, cycle on a flat stretch to the Messe Nord/ICC S-Bahn station, and end the more challenging bike tour there.
