Radtour von Oranienburg bis zum Schloss Mirow

From Oranienburg, you can enjoy beautiful lake and forest landscapes by bike on the 89-kilometer route to Mirow Castle.
The 89-kilometer road bike or mountain bike tour through Brandenburg to the beautiful Mirow Castle begins at Oranienburg S-Bahn station, which can be easily reached from Berlin with the S1.
Right at the start of the tour, you pass Oranienburg Castle. Oranienburg Castle is the oldest Baroque castle in the Mark Brandenburg, and the castle museum offers an interesting insight into the history of the historic buildings. 
The bike tour continues straight north through Oranienburg’s romantic old town, across fields and through forests to Sommerfeld, where there are several opportunities to eat and drink something delicious. In Beetz, there are also bakeries and cafés where fresh coffee and cake will make any cyclist’s heart beat faster.
The bike tour continues through the rural Beetzer Heide, through cute and small Brandenburg villages, such as Lindow with its picturesque harbor. In Rheinsberg, you should definitely visit the wonderful castle park and the beautiful castle, and if you turn left at the country road, a small path leads directly to Lake Rheinsberg. Here you can swim undisturbed and enjoy the magnificent view. The route continues along Lake Schiaborn, through the dense forest and past numerous other lakes.
Upon arriving in Mirow, located north of Oranienburg, you should cycle up to the castle island and visit the beautiful castle. In the small town of Mirow, there are many restaurants and cafés to refuel after the tour. Continue to Mirow train station to take the train back to Berlin from there or strap the bike onto the car roof in the parking lot and begin the journey home.
