In Volkspark Hasenheide, on the border between Neukölln and Kreuzberg, there is an enclosed dog garden exclusively for small dogs: a maximum of 35 cm tall, a maximum of 15 kilograms in weight. The dog garden "Kleine Feiglinge" (Little Cowards) offers puppies and small breeds the space they need without larger companions dominating the power play.

Periplaneta's literary café on Bornholmer Straße in Prenzlauer Berg is a café, publishing bookstore, and reading stage of the eponymous indie publisher. During the day, people read and work with coffee and Wi-Fi; in the evenings, TresenLesen, Vision & Wahn, and the open stage Rühmchen take place. Anyone who wants to read their own texts here only needs courage and seven minutes.
