To create wooden furniture and furnishings from genuine Berlin city trees – this was the idea of Jörn Neubauer and Christian Friedrich from uniic.

For their furniture, they deliberately choose trees with a history. Because only a shrapnel splinter and other traces of time make the wood grain truly interesting.

The two furniture designers work on their wooden artworks for three to four months. That sounds expensive, but it is only partly so. Large pieces of furniture have their price, but a set of salt and pepper shakers for approx. 20 Euros or lamps starting from 90 Euros are affordable for everyone. The Top10 editorial team is convinced: Berlin city dwellers cannot furnish their homes more individually than this!
