In Berlin-Mitte, directly on Torstraße, you don't check in, you shop: Hotel Ultra is a concept store that understands interior design as an attitude, showcases curated design objects from international brands, and frees living from the catalog look.
Hotel Ultra: When Furniture Checks In
In a world of interchangeable furnishings, Hotel ULTRA is the antithesis to the standard. The concept store in Berlin-Mitte consistently plays with the hotel metaphor: whoever enters here steps into a fictional hotel lobby with a reception, key cabinet, and luggage cart. However, instead of guests, selected design objects check in. Owner Mo Ghandehari implemented the hotel concept down to the smallest detail. In his house for brands and products, there are 36 boxes that serve as symbolic hotel rooms, matching a key board with 36 room keys. So, those who want to furnish individually will not find meters of shelves full of mass-produced goods here, but rather character pieces with attitude.
Curated Interior Design Instead of Catalog Look
The assortment includes everything that frees a home from the catalog look: from sculptural seating and lighting objects that dominate the room, to high-end accessories that challenge the eye. The selection is anything but arbitrary. From international brands like Seletti, Kartell, and Jonathan Adler to emerging labels that are rarely discovered elsewhere, everything is carefully chosen. Furthermore, the assortment changes regularly: the store functions like a stage; brands come, stay a while, and make room for new arrivals. Those who desire professional support for individual furnishing can also rely on the in-house interior design team. It is ready to help transform one’s own four walls into a Hotel-ULTRA-worthy suite. While large platforms focus on mass production and trends, Hotel Ultra emphasizes curation and character. You notice this as soon as you enter Torstraße 155.
