Faceland Fotostudio Berlin is located at Keithstraße 15 directly on Wittenbergplatz, just a few steps from KaDeWe and Tauentzienstraße. Subway lines U1, U2, and U3 stop right around the corner, as do bus lines M19, M29, and M46. Behind the studio are Apostolos Tsolakidis and Thi Thuy Nhi Tran, who met during their photography studies at Lette Verein and still photograph themselves today. According to their own statements, the location on Wittenbergplatz has stood for business photography for over twenty years. The rooms have high ceilings, wooden floors, and exposed brickwork, as well as a rail system on the ceiling for cable-free lighting, a cove, and a roll system with more than ten background colors from white to beige to dark blue. If desired, photos can also be taken in your own office or showroom, with the equipment brought along. The two clearly articulate their philosophy: it’s not about an assembly line shooting, but about genuine attention to the person in front of the camera. Accordingly, before the shutter is pressed, it is discussed what impression the picture should leave later.

Packages, Retouching, and Business Portraits at Faceland Fotostudio Berlin

There are two packages for application photos. Basic costs 89 Euros and includes one photo with one outfit in front of one background, while Plus costs 139 Euros and provides three photos with multiple outfits and backgrounds. Retouching is included in both, as is digital delivery via a selection link, through which the images can be conveniently chosen and downloaded at home. Selection can be made either directly in the studio or later on your own computer. Before the shoot, the team clarifies the purpose of the photos and provides advice on pose, facial expressions, and clothing. Several tops in subtle colors are recommended, and for business photos, a shirt or blouse and a jacket. In addition to classic application photos, Faceland Fotostudio Berlin also creates portraits for LinkedIn and uniform team photos for companies and start-ups. Clients include KPMG, Audi, and KaDeWe. Furthermore, the studio rents out its rooms by the hour and offers photography workshops on studio portraits, camera technology, and analog cyanotype.
