Digitaldruck Wedding: Print Your Application

Digitaldruck Wedding has been printing in Tegeler Straße since 1989, offering not only standard paper but also Mondi Color Copy at 100 and 120 grams, as well as cover cardstock at 270 grams in eleven colors. Binding options range from comb binding to hardcover. For job applications, this means: the portfolio is created where it's printed, potentially even on the same day.

Digitaldruck Wedding: Printing and Binding Application Documents

The print shop is located at Tegeler Straße 29 in Wedding, a few minutes from the U9 Amrumer Straße subway station and within walking distance of the Westhafen S-Bahn station. Digitaldruck Wedding has been operating at this location since 1989, with Marco Abromeit as the owner. Printing is done in-house and not through an intermediary, which means finished documents can potentially be picked up on the same day. This is the crucial difference when an application deadline expires the next morning. On the website, orders can be configured using a configurator. Format, paper, binding, and quantity are selected individually, and the price is calculated accordingly. A basic data check is free; those who want to be completely sure can book the extended check. Two express levels are available for urgent orders, and those who prefer to discuss in person which paper thickness suits which document can visit the shop directly. The clientele ranges from students with theses to companies with larger print runs.

Paper, Binding, and Prices for Application Portfolios

For an application, paper and binding are particularly crucial. In addition to standard 80-gram paper, Digitaldruck Wedding offers heavier Mondi Color Copy at 100 and 120 grams, as well as FSC-certified offset paper, plus 270-gram cover cardstock in eleven colors ranging from white and black to navy blue and bordeaux. A loosely collected DIN A4 application costs 2.84 Euros, optionally punched or on recycled paper. If the portfolio is to be bound, comb binding costs 5.78 Euros per copy. Other options include perfect binding, metal ring, plastic ring, coil, and Wire-O binding, stapling, as well as softcover and hardcover for theses. Letterhead with your own layout can also be printed in small quantities, which is important for cover letters. Those who are just starting their careers can get business cards and their bound thesis at the same address. Print data is uploaded online, and pickup is on-site in Wedding. Having cutting, printing, and binding all in one place makes reorders straightforward, should a second portfolio be needed after the first interview.
