Schönefelder Radrundfahrt

From Schönefeld, the paved route runs along quiet country roads, through forests and by Lake Miersdorf.
This 55-kilometer route starts at Schönefeld S-Bahn station and heads towards Falkenhorst along idyllic country roads, through forests and past lakes, suitable for all types of bicycles. Just a few kilometers by bike towards the northeast, the Waltersdorf Animal Adventure Farm is a real highlight. It’s especially worthwhile to stop here with children to marvel at elephants, rhinos, tigers, as well as giraffes and camels. In the afternoon, there is also the daily open-air circus show.
Further out, the route continues into the beautiful rural surroundings, past the peacefully situated Lake Miersdorf. The cycle path leads past the Dahme river and after a few more kilometers, you enter the small town of Königs Wusterhausen. In the beautiful castle park, you can relax on the green lawns or in the castle café and recharge your batteries. If you still want to visit the castle, the associated museum offers an insight into the royal living quarters of Frederick William I.
The cycling continues along quiet country roads, through forests and past small villages. The seven-hectare Dahlewitz manor park offers an opportunity for a short detour into the idyllic, listed park. The tour continues past Weißmannsdorf and in a wide arc through the forest area back to the starting point at Schönefeld S-Bahn station.
