The 18-kilometer cycling tour around the idyllic Lehnitzsee is ideal for a short ride on a sunny weekend.

This cycling route, just under 18 kilometers long, is a short tour that runs along the beautiful Lehnitzsee not far from Oranienburg and is particularly suitable for relaxed bike rides on the weekend. The route starts at Oranienburg S-Bahn station, crosses the Lehnitzstraße bridge, and runs for several kilometers parallel to the Oder-Havel Canal, which flows directly into the beautiful and idyllic Lehnitzsee.

You cycle past many small and secluded swimming spots. Especially on hot summer days, a refreshing dip in the cool water is just what you need. The route continues through a shady forest segment and directly to the picturesque Grabowsee and along the Oder-Havel Canal heading south. In the small village of Neustadt, not far from Oranienburg, there is another swimming spot that invites you to a well-deserved break. There are many opportunities here by the water and at the harbors to eat and drink something delicious and enjoy the sun to the fullest.

The short cycling tour ends at Lehnitz S-Bahn station, from where you can comfortably and quickly travel back to Berlin with the S1.
