Spreewald Thermenhotel: in your bathrobe to the brine bath

The Spreewald Thermenhotel is located in Burg (Spreewald) right next to the Spreewald Therme. There is a covered bathrobe walkway between the two buildings, so hotel guests can reach the brine bath without shoes and a jacket and are allowed in earlier than day guests. The spa is included in the room rate, as are a bathrobe, bath towel, and bathing slippers.

The thermal brine is extracted from a depth of 1,350 meters and, undiluted, has a salt content of 24 percent. The brine bath features six indoor pools with water temperatures between 18 and 38 degrees, an intensive brine pool for floating, and a heated outdoor pool with a current channel. In the Sauna Garden, six saunas are spread over three floors, including the Spreewald sauna with infusions, a fire sauna, and an herbal sauna. Together, the brine bath and sauna garden cover over 6,000 square meters.

Cucumber, Linseed Oil, and Boat Trip

The WellnessGallery uses Spreewald ingredients: cucumber wraps, linseed oil baths, and massages with local herbs. The 83-room hotel was built in 2012 to passive house standards and runs on green electricity. In the evening, guests dine at the PanoramaRestaurant and then relax in the lounge and bar. A combi ticket offers a two-hour boat trip from Spreehafen Burg through the waterways, followed by two hours in the brine bath.
