Gut Klostermühle: Medical Spa on Lake Madlitz

Gut Klostermühle is located in Alt Madlitz near Briesen (Mark), uniquely situated on the shores of Lake Madlitz, about an hour’s drive east of Berlin. The grounds once belonged to Carthusian monks; today, 66 rooms and suites are distributed across five buildings, along with holiday apartments and houses, some with their own jetties. No two rooms are alike, and many overlook the lake.

BRUNE BALANCE med & SPA on three floors

The spa spans three floors, totaling approximately 1,800 square meters. It features an indoor pool at 28 degrees, a 20 by 9 meter outdoor pool, Finnish sauna, bio-sauna, aroma and brine steam bath, tepidarium, Kneipp walk, ice fountain, and a sauna garden. Additionally, there’s the medical section with a doctor’s consultation room, an Ayurvedic doctor offering pulse diagnosis, two Ayurvedic treatment rooms with herbal steam baths, and a hydrojet water massage bed. Day guests aged 15 and over can book the Day Spa with pool, sauna, and fitness room.

Meals are served in the Klosterscheune (monastery barn) with a fireplace and lake terrace, offering regional cuisine, and breakfast is served in the Finckenlounge. Rowboats, pedal boats, and SUP boards are available for rent at the lake, and there is also an equestrian facility on the premises and a hiking trail around the lake.
