Hotel and Spa Sommerfeld on Lake Beetz, north of Berlin, describes itself as an “Adults-Only Hotel”. This is because the youngest guests here are 14 years old. Everyone who wants to get away from the noisy everyday life, which can certainly prevail in families, will find a sanctuary here.

The Wellness Hotel Sommerfeld in Kremmen on Lake Beetz has existed for 20 years. It has been continuously expanded and repeatedly updated. The hotel has retained its special charm because the same architect who carried out the modernizations at the famous Friedrichstadt-Palast and the Konzerthaus Berlin was at work here.

In 2000, for instance, the generous spa extension was added. This ANIMA Spa is now absolutely one of the hotel’s amenities. It features a light-filled indoor pool with large skylights and a beautiful relaxation area, a heated outdoor pool, a steam sauna, a Finnish sauna, a sanarium, a Kneipp pool, an experience shower, and a fitness room. The range of wellness treatments is extensive. Guests can choose from massages from all over the world, including a Tibetan energetic back massage, an Ayurvedic head-shoulder-neck massage, or the Sommerfeld Dream Journey. Beauty programs as well as wellness and health baths can also be booked.

The wellness short break is rounded off with a daily course program, which is included in the overnight stay program, such as water aerobics, walking, abs-legs-butt workout, back exercises, Qi Gong, or progressive muscle relaxation.

In 2015, the rooms were also renovated and redesigned. The adults-only wellness hotel is dedicated to tranquility and relaxation and specializes in wellness short trips in Brandenburg. It caters to adults and young people aged 14 and over.

The hotel is very quietly situated directly on Lake Beetz and is surrounded by extensive forest without direct neighbors. Lake Beetz is wonderful for walks; you can circle it in 3 km. The hotel is about a 45-minute drive from Berlin and is also easily accessible via Beetz train station by hotel shuttle.
