A yet widely unknown skating route right by the water can be found in Wedding.



On 1,000 m² of real ice, Winterquartier Berlin offers pure ice skating pleasure, weatherproof and centrally located at Ostbahnhof. From open skating to ice disco and family offers, visitors can expect a winter highlight right in Friedrichshain.

Idyllically situated between the Teltow canal and green areas you will find the so-called "Ost-Krone".

A quiet skating route that is idyllically located in the countryside hides in Karlshorst.

The skating route in Hans-Baluschek-Park is an insider tip and not so easy to find.

An 850 meter long circuit especially for skaters can be found in the eastern part of Volkspark Friedrichshain. Especially beginners can practice here without risk.



The Horst Dohm Ice Rink in Wilmersdorf is Berlin's largest ice rink, covering an area of 6,170 square meters. From November 1, beginners and professionals alike can enjoy an Olympic-style atmosphere here.

In the north of Spandau, right by the city limit, there is a 6 kilometer asphalt road that mainly leads through forests and fields.





Ice skating and gastronomy are combined at the Rübezahl ice rink in Müggelheim, which opens from November 15, 2025.


The Charlottenburg Ice Rink will be open from October 2025 and is one of Berlin's most modern and flexible ice rinks. Two large, covered ice surfaces invite you to ice skate all year round, while a snack bar, skate rental, and comfortable stands make your stay pleasant.

The Tempelhofer Feld is the largest city park in Europe with enough space for inline skaters! The 4.5 km circular route for skaters leads amongst others over the runway of the former airport.


The speed skating rink at the Sportforum Berlin in Hohenschönhausen offers a comprehensive platform for ice sports enthusiasts. It is one of the fastest lowland tracks in the world and provides attractive opportunities for both recreational and professional ice skaters.



Tempelhofer Feld in Tempelhof is Berlin's legendary open space, where former runways have become a skating track. On a 4.5 km circular route between wide skies and the old airport building, inline skaters roll with a good tailwind through one of Europe's largest city parks.

One of the most beautiful skating routes is not directly in Berlin, but just outside the capital city. The unique Flaeming-Skate route, a network for skaters, cyclists and wheelchair users extends over the district of Teltow-Fläming in the south of Berlin.



If you would like to skate in bad weather or try cool tricks on the halfpipe with your skateboard, you can visit the skate hall Berlin located at the RAW area in Friedrichshain.


Titus sells all that you need for skating on around 3000 square metres: decks, trucks, wheels, skatewear and of course the matching shoes to go along with it. They may not have the biggest variety in sneakers, but Titus is more specialised, for example they even carry hard-to-find Vans models.

An absolute classic among the Berlin skating routes is the track at Kronprinzessinnenweg in Zehlendorf!



Skating for free and curling - all this and more can be enjoyed at the Winter World on Potsdamer Platz from November 1st 2019 until January 5th 2020.



The Lankwitz Ice Rink offers 1,800 square meters of ice from November to March for ice skating, ice hockey, and curling. Families and friends can enjoy winter activities together in the fresh air and soak up the cozy atmosphere.



Ice skating at the ice rink Neukölln is a popular activity during christmas time for many Berlin locals.

The Erika-Heß-Eisstadion in Berlin's Wedding district offers a covered ice rink and an open-air track. It is Berlin's third-largest ice sports arena and home to the Berlin ice hockey club FASS Berlin. This family-friendly venue invites visitors to a variety of ice sports activities.




Things will get romantic on the cicrular ice rink around the Neptune Fountain on Alexanderplatz with Waltz and Christmas tunes and an ambient lighting from 25th of November until the 6th of January 2020.
