100 Kilometer Radrundtour in der Oberhavel

The great cycling tour through Brandenburg's Oberhavel covers 100 kilometers through green nature, tranquil lakes, and picturesque villages.
The bike tour, which starts at Velten train station in Brandenburg, is a real mammoth tour for road and city bikes, covering a full 100 kilometers through a picturesque landscape of lakes, shady forest areas, and green fields. Whether you ride this giant tour at a leisurely pace, enjoying the dreamy landscape, or use this route as an intensive training session – it’s definitely worth taking this cycling tour at least once.
As soon as you leave Velten, not far from Oranienburg, you cycle south on quiet country roads through small idyllic villages until you reach the beautiful Wansdorf Castle, where you can take a short break. The route continues through a large forest area and across the Havelkanal in Alt-Brieselang. Arriving in Falkensee, there’s an opportunity to refuel with drinks and something to eat and rest your legs for a while.
The tour makes a detour to Seeburg and runs along the Hahneberg, which can also be climbed by bike. From Heerstraße, you continue to Staaken and along the beautiful Falkenhagener See, which has several bathing spots ideal for a cool-down on a warm summer day.
Continuing across fields and through forests, the route leads through many villages and ultimately back to the starting point in Velten, where there are numerous restaurants and beer gardens for a well-deserved refreshment.
