spoks at Mommsenstraße 16 is a workshop-only location with package prices: The regular inspection costs 99 Euros, the Pro package for road and gravel bikes is 279 Euros, and the express service for punctures starts at 30 Euros. They are authorized to work on Canyon, Rose, Shimano, and Woom bikes, and payment is exclusively cashless, meaning no cash.

A Young Workshop Chain in Charlottenburg Kiez

Mommsenstraße 16 is a three-minute walk from Savignyplatz, in one of the quieter streets between Kurfürstendamm and the S-Bahn. spoks operates one of its four Berlin locations here; the others are in Prenzlauer Berg, Schöneberg, and Friedrichshain, plus a workshop in Munich. The business was founded in summer 2024 by Julian Stoß and Samuel Töpfer, and the company now employs thirteen people. No bikes are sold, but accessories and spare parts are available, from inner tubes and tires to chains, brake pads, and care products. They work on all brands and everything that travels on Berlin’s streets, from premium road bikes to gravel bikes, e-bikes, cargo bikes, and even children’s and vintage bikes. The business is an authorized partner for Canyon, Rose, Shimano, and Woom, which means they also accept bikes from direct-to-consumer brands that other workshops often decline. In Charlottenburg, advice is available in German and English, and because all four Berlin workshops operate with the same prices, you can drop off your bike wherever is most convenient.

Package Prices, Chain Wax, and a Digital Report

spoks’ pricing model uses packages instead of individual items. A free bike check is the starting point, followed by an inspection including checks of the frame, fork, brakes, headset, gears, lighting system, and tires for a regular price of 99 Euros. The mid-range package adds a small wash, trued wheels, and new gear and brake cables. The Pro package for road and gravel bikes costs a regular 279 Euros and replaces the complete drivetrain, including chain and cassette, as well as updates for electronic shifting systems. Spare parts are not included in any package. If you only have a flat tire, book the express service. A special feature is chain care with hot and liquid wax, which few shops in Berlin still offer. Every service includes a digital inspection report with all checked points and recommendations for next time, which significantly eases cost control over the years. By the way, online booking only sets the day, not a fixed time, so you bring your bike in at some point on that day. Payment is exclusively cashless.
