The thematic world of the Berlin City Library is broadly diversified. In addition to the natural sciences, medicine and economics, it also hast extensive collections about Berlin’s past and present. As Berlin’s state library, the ZLB has the task of collecting all printed works, data and sound carriers that are published in Berlin.

The Berlin City Library always has current daily newspapers and magazines in stock, which can be read there free of charge and undisturbed. The free WLAN may also be used for work. Tip from the Top10 Berlin editorial team: There is also a small café with delicious coffee and snacks and in summer, when the weather is good, the patio invites you to browse and linger.
