Let it Be Vegan on Treptower Straße in Berlin-Neukölln is a vegan crêperie and burger bar. The crêpes are available in a sweet version of wheat and wholemeal flour or hearty as a galette of buckwheat flour. The crêpes are named after artists like Fiona Apple, Woody Harrelson, Prince or Alicia Silverstone and are served with toppings such as red wine braised soybean, chick pea curry or chocolate and banana.

Every week there is a special burger dedicated to an artist, for example the “Sia” burger with a chickpea mushroom patty, fried banana and homemade curry sauce, the “Anthony Kiedis” burger with grilled kohlrabi , hash brown potato biscuits, homemade remoulade and capers or the “Portia de Rossi” burger with grilled portobello, freshly roasted onions, red peppers, quiche cabbage and homemade cranberry-smoked tofu-crème. The full-grain bread rolls with polenta dust that are used for the burgers are obtained from the organic bakery Endorphina, the regional and fresh organic vegetables are purchased from a vegan partner supermarket.

Inside the restaurant there are a few bright wooden tables and benches, colorful pictures on the walls and chains of lights. In addition the owners have lovingly decorated the restaurant with gifts from all over the world. Linoleum prints by the artist Nagel are also exhibited in the restauarant.

Nice to know: Let it be Vegan regularly publishes the playlist of their restaurant on their website to listen at home.
