Kombibad Spandau-Süd

Water rats rejoice! The Spandau Natatorium was refurbished for staggering 11,1 millions of euros and opened its doors again for the public.

As the second out of the four big combo-swimming pools in Berlin, the natatorium of the Kombibad Spandau-Sud was brought up to speed with state-of-the-art thermoinsulation, new windows and equipment and amenities for water preparation, heating and ventilation.

The wall mosaic in the hall, dating from the opening of the place could be conserved. Too add comfort for the swimmers, the natatorium was equipped with new locker rooms and floor tiles. The whole place exudes a fresh, bright and new look.

The location boasts a 5-metres multi-purpose pool, one pool for non-swimmers, a jumping pool with a board at 1 metre and a second board at 3 metres. The refurbishment of the sauna area is still pending. The Kombibad also offers again swimming classes and aqua fitness.
