The restaurant Tucholsky's in Berlin-Mitte is CLOSED. For new suggestions please send an email to our team: firstname.lastname@example.org
After the renovation, the traditional cult restaurant Tucholsky's on Torstrasse focuses on chic coziness. Modern design, dark walls with contemporary art and stylishly laid tables make Tucholsky's a chic restaurant with a touch of Berlin.
The menu includes Flähminger turnip, beef roulade or veal liver "Berlin style", but also Sylter mussels, Königsberger meat balls or beef tartare. The main dishes are made with quail egg, sardelle fillets or lukewarm potato-cucumber salad, which gives them a special kick. Steaks are available from the Simmental beef as entrecote, beef fillet or cutlet from the Havelländer apple pig. The menus are supplemented by appetizer classics such as onion soup or spinach salad. In the meantime baked veal broth, oysters or sky, earth and sea from blood sausage and mussel are served. The dessert menu include Crème Brûlée, lemon sorbet with champagne or Allgäuer mountain cheese.
The large terrace attached to the Tucholky's is popular among the guests during the summer, especially because of its romantic planting with plane trees and ivy. Run by the makers of the "New Odessa Bar" on Torstrasse, the Tucholsky's offers a great cocktail selection along with the dishes. Like the food also the cocktails are experimental and made with extravagant spices to achieve exceptional flavor. The "Brown Bear" cocktail combines Cardenal Mendoza Brandy, Bailey's, Chocolate Mousse and Muscat. For special occasions like the Berlinale special drinks are created here.
