The small Brasserie on the Landwehrkanal in Berlin-Kreuzberg usually offers a classic French bistro cuisine ranging from Tarte and quiche up to monkfish. The Martin’s Day goose is served all at November 11 2017. A reservation in advance is necessary.

The young restaurant owner Moritz Borowski, nicknamed Mori, created a classic down-home 3-course menu for St. Martin’s Day. The menu starts with an autumn chestnut soup. For the main course breast or leg of a Martin‘s goose are served with red cabbage, kale, brioche potato dumplings and seasoned orange jus. For dessert the guests on St. Martin’s Day are treated with pumpkin tarte topped with vanilla ice cream and citrus fruit salad.

The concept of the Brasserie Le Bon Mori combines the uncomplicated and social atmosphere of Parisian brasseries with a good quality of products. Premium salami, Wild boar ham or honey from Corsican chestnut woods are imported directly from France. Besides these signature dishes and classics of the French cuisine, the well-stocked wine cellar offers flavor beads from France and Germany.

Moritz Borowski has a good network in the Berlin dining scene. His career history includes the restaurant Altes Zollhaus, the restaurant Windspiel in Hubertushohe, the Estrel and a position as sous-chef in the restaurant Oktogon.
