Even before Martin's Day, already on 2.11.18, the goose season begins at Landhaus Hubertus, a nice country-style restaurant in the north of Berlin. The seasonal dish is served here with red cabbage and green cabbage and homemade potato dumplings.
There is also a whole goose offered as a martin goose for four people, but only with timely reservation three days in advance. Due to the large number of orders for Martin's Day on 11.11.18, the goose roast will already be carved and served on the table that day. The delicious roast goose will also be prepared for the Christmas Eve feast at home, complete with all the side dishes for home.
The Landhaus Hubertus was built in 1937 in the north of Berlin. In the fifties it was used as a cinema hall, today it is a nice destination for excursions and it is used as restaurant and beer garden in Berlin-Frohnau. In autumn and winter, guests love the fireplace room and the rustic Hubertus Hall. The kitchen of the house can be described as a country house kitchen. The international cycle route that leads from Berlin to Copenhagen runs nearby.
Landhaus Hubertus regularly organises seasonal events such as the Christmas Dinner with roasted goose, but also theatre performances, cabaret, readings and concerts. Because of the roast goose, the restaurant asks for advance booking and reservation three days in advance.
