The bakery Wiener Brot in Berlin-Mitte is the only bakery in all of Berlin to use solely traditional wood-fired ovens. This old way of baking in these ovens, without any added baking agents, brings about a really crunchy crust and makes the bread fresh and preservable for a long time.
Always on sale are breads like their Hausbrot, the Kernbrot and the Sonntagsbrot (Sunday Bread). Add to that specials like Wiener Dinkel & Florianer with or without spices. All breads of Wiener Brot have been certified by Demeter International for a short time. Should you prefer lighter breads, you will find great white bread, Altamura and a variety of different rustic and sweet baked goods from the Alps.
