The island is located in the Berlin part of the Havel and can be reached with a ferry. Once arrived, you disappear into a world of tranquility. The Pfaueninsel Palace is without any doubt one of the most popular trip destinations of the city. The peacocks living there gave the island its name – a marvellous place for proposing marriange! Prepare a romantic picnic and hide the ring in the picnic basket and once your special somebody finds the ring in the basket, ask the magical question. Surprise guaranteed!
