You can even have your picnic on the very top of the flak tower, chairs and tables are permanently installed there.
A good deal more of a romantic picnic can however be had in the beautil rosarium or one of the secluded recreational greens. Equally nice is the water garden in this park of 29 hectares.
If you feel more like playing sports than relaxation, you can use the Humboldthain for jogging or practise your climbing skills on Großer or Kleiner Bunkerberg. For children there are several playground in the area and a sledding hill in winter. Additionally, the park boasts a summer pool.
